About AIPST
The Council for Vocational Education & Skill Development, established as a statutory organization, aims to enhance India’s competitiveness by fostering the development of vocational skills. Its responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and establishing standards and qualifications within the AIPST discipline.
AIPST is, simply, education to prepare people – students, job seekers, the employed and the self-employed – for the world of work and business. Also it includes all programmes and courses that contribute towards the development of the knowledge, technical skills, attitudes, and core skills essential to being competitive in the world of work.
